性质描述:

白色片状结晶。熔点55-56℃，沸点212-216℃，109℃（2.67kPa），相对密度1.0526（55/55℃），1.0293（65℃）。溶于乙醇、乙醚和苯，微溶于水。具丁香气味。

生产方法:

由对苯二酚经硫酸二甲酯或氯甲烷甲基化而得。

用途:

该品为有机合成中间体，用于生产药物甲氧胺盐酸盐、染料黑色盐ANS等。还用作定香剂，用于日用化学品，配制食品、烟用香精；还可作为塑料、涂料的抗风蚀剂。
