无色液体。熔点-70℃，沸点232.4℃，105.2℃（1.2kPa），相对密度0.85（28/11℃），折光率1.4071（25℃），闪点93℃。易溶于甲醇、酯类、乙酰丙酮和四氯化碳，溶于乙醇。遇水迅速反应即得。

生产方法:

由正丁醇与硼酸反应而得。

用途:
