Apomine accelerates the degradation of 3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl-CoA reductase and stimulates low-density lipoprotein receptor activity. Apomine enhances the antitumor effect of lovastatin on myeloma cells by downregulating 3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl-CoA reductase.
